Because everything you own is going somewhere.

You’re Moving Abroad.
What Are You Doing With All Your Stuff?

Some of it is coming with you. Most of it probably isn't.
I'll help you figure out what goes where.
So you can get the whole house handled before it's time to get on the plane.

Vivian stepped in and immediately brought the stress level down. Her expertise in helping us figure out where to start and how to approach decisions about my mom’s belongings was truly impressive.

This Is Not a Normal Move.

And while some things are going to be easy to handle…

Some things are going to stop you in your tracks because they belonged to your mother.

Or your kids made them.

Or you bought them on your honeymoon.

Or they've been sitting in the back of a cabinet for 20 years and suddenly, inexplicably, you have FEELINGS about them.

Meanwhile, you’re still living there.

You still need your clothes.  And your coffee maker.  And somewhere to sit.

You probably don't want to spend the next six months climbing over piles labeled “maybe take to France” and “ask Sarah if she wants this.”

And hanging over all of this is a date on the calendar when you are getting on an airplane.

Whether you've figured out what to do with the contents of the hall closet or not.

When you move across town,

you pack everything into boxes, put it on a truck, and deal with it at the other end.

When you move abroad?

Every single thing you own needs a destination.

Some things are coming with you. Some things are going to family and friends. Some things need to be sold, donated, recycled, or thrown away.

So Where Are You Supposed To Start?

That means figuring out what’s coming with you.

What’s going somewhere else.

How to work through an entire house without making it completely unlivable in the process.

And how in the world to get it all done before moving day.

And No, You Do Not Have to Be Ruthless About It.

You are allowed to look at the things you've lived with.

You are allowed to remember where they came from.

You are allowed to take a photo before you let something go.

You are allowed to give something to the person who will understand why it mattered.

You are allowed to be excited about leaving and sad about what you’re leaving behind.
Not by pulling everything out of your closets.

Not by ordering 75 moving boxes.

And definitely not by walking through your house asking yourself, over and over again: “Should I keep this or get rid of it?”

Because you are not trying to get rid of your whole life.

You're trying to figure out what belongs in the one you're going to live next.

The goal isn't to get rid of everything as fast as humanly possible.

The goal is to go through your lifetime of belongings in a way that is thoughtful, systematic, and quick enough that when moving day comes, you are done. And you are ready.
The things you're taking are packed.

Everything else has gone where it needs to go.

The house is empty.

And you can get on the plane knowing that you kept what matters, let go of what couldn’t come with you, and didn’t let a house full of belongings stand between you and the life you’ve been dreaming about.

Vivian understands that the downsizing process feels different for everyone involved. She is patient, gracious, and keeps the whole process moving smoothly.

Hi. I’m Vivian.
And I’ve Done This Too.

I’ve packed up my life and moved abroad.
More than once.

I know what it’s like to stand in a house full of things you’ve accumulated over years and realize that most of them are not coming with you.

And I also know that even when you want the life waiting for you on the other side, leaving this one isn’t always so simple.

Professionally, I’ve spent years helping people downsize, move, and figure out what belongs in their homes and the lives they’re living right now.

I can help you make a plan.

I can help you figure out what matters. What fits the life you’re moving toward. What deserves the money and effort it will take to bring it with you.

And what doesn’t.

And I can help you get the whole thing done.

Because I believe you can be wildly excited about where you’re going and still need a minute to say goodbye to where you’ve been.

And I think you should get to do both.

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOUR MOVE

What I thought would be a difficult experience turned into a process that honored my mom’s memories while preparing us both for the next stages of our lives.

You’re Not Doing All of This Because You’re Excited to Donate 80% of Your Stuff.

You’re doing it because you’re
chasing something bigger.

You’ve bought a ticket to a life
you decided was worth having.

You have spent years thinking about this. Dreaming about it.
Planning for it.
Maybe wondering if you'd ever actually do it.

And now you're doing it.

Your stuff cannot be the thing
that stops you from going.

Vivian made me feel like I could do this and there's a process and there's a plan and there are steps that are going to be taken to get to the end.

Do You Want to Get There?

Not Sure What Kind of Help You Need?

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOUR MOVE

You do not need to figure that out before you talk to me.

Tell me where you're moving, when you're going, and what you're currently staring at in your house.

We'll figure it out together.

Help Me Make the Plan

You know you can do the work. You just need someone to help you figure out what the work actually is.

We’ll take your actual house, your actual stuff, and your actual move and turn the “I’m freaking out right now” into: “Okay. I know where to start, what to do next, and how to actually do this.”

We’ll create your Game Plan for getting from a full house to an empty one.

HELP ME MAKE MY GAME PLAN

Help Me Work the Plan

You don't need me standing next to you in your house.

But you do want me working through this with you.

We can do that virtually over Zoom or WhatsApp.

I’ll help you make decisions, keep the project moving, deal with the things that are slowing you down, and make sure you're actually getting closer to an empty house every week.

Let’s talk about what kind of support makes sense based on your house, your timeline, and how much you need to get done.

HELP ME WORK MY GAME PLAN

Come Help Me Do This

You want more than a plan and a Zoom call.

You want me standing next to you while we do this.

I can do that.

I’ll come to your house and work through the Game Plan with you.

Helping you make decisions, sorting through what stays and goes, and moving a whole lot of this project from “There is so much to do.” to “Done.”

Let’s talk about your move, your timeline, and what needs to happen. And figure out whether having me physically working in your home with you makes sense.

Maybe the move is still a ways off, but you’re standing in your house thinking,
